National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission or NBTC is an independent state regulatory body which was established under the Act on Organization to Assign Radio Frequency and to Regulate the Broadcasting and Telecommunication Services B.E. 2553. The NBTC has been graciously appointed by His Majesty the King on October 7th, 2011 to allocate the nation’s radio frequency and regulate broadcasting and telecommunications sectors for the benefit of the country and the public. NBTC’s Policy in frequency allocation for the maximum benefit for the Thai people
1) Frequency Allocation: fairly allocating frequency and promoting its utilization efficiently for the maximum benefit of the public and the nation. 2) Licenses granting: focusing on the fair competition and preventing monopoly that could lead to unfair competition. 3) Regulation: encouraging market mechanism and promoting competition under fair regulations for the maximum benefit of the public for accurately, fast and fair quality of service. 4) Universal Service Obligation: promoting universal broadcasting, television and telecommunication services nationwide. 5) Consumer Protection: setting measures for the public to have access to various high quality ranges of broadcasting and telecommunications services under reasonable prices.
PRAIS, founded in 1974, started as design and production company of Broadcasting devices but in recent years changed to an FM Broadcasting support service. PRAIS handles management and realization of Transmission sites, design, supply, installation and maintenance of Transmission devices and remote check of the technological information. PRAIS manage more than 270 transmission sites with technological supervisors and remote control over the Italian land. We developed also a software constantly growing for the management and simulation of the coverage of the radio signals in FM, DAB and DVB-T. We work with the biggest editorial Italian groups for the maintenance of telecommunication sites and for new technology like DAB, DAB+ and DRM+. Recently PRAIS has acquired DELTARETE5 broadcaster in FM and DAB+ for Italian test phase in Trentino with Digiloc consortium.
National Broadcasting Council is a constitutional body, established by the Broadcasting Act of 29 December 1992 as a supreme state body authorized to act on radio and television broadcasting. At present the Council consists of 5 members appointed for a 6-year term.

In 2013 the National Broadcasting Council has approved a plan for the implementation of digital radio in Poland. This process, in accordance with the decision of the Council was initiated by public Polish Radio along with 17 regional radio stations. In the time being a strategy of introducing DAB+ for the entire radio market in Poland is being developed by a team appointed by the Council.

BBC National Digital Radio Coverage Improves In Four Areas The next phase of the BBC’s digital radio network expansion plan will bring a further 2 million people into the coverage area with an additional 162 transmitters.
